James Owen

James is a born and bred Liverpool lad who strangely is neither a 'red or a blue' - he describes himself as a football agnostic, although he does have a strange affection for snooker (however cannot play - well, at least).

He started on the radio aged 19 and has worked on stations in Liverpool, Manchester, The Midlands and Devon. Most recently spending over 6 years at a station further along the  coast in Fylde and Wyre.

He is a keen cook, classic car fan, lover of TV detective Columbo and has a rescue dog called Scrappy-Doo.

He also has a few claims to fame, not just being on the Radio! His cousin is an ex-premiership footballer who was recently awarded an MBE and he has a very tenuous link to The Doors front man Jim Morrison by means of a maternal uncle - but we will let him tell you all about that.
