Episode 28 - Season 2020/21

Across The Park Podcast

Tuesday, 23 March 2021 - 1 hour 2 minutes

In the latest episode of Across The Park podcast, the lads sit down to review Everton’s recent FA Cup home defeat to Man City, with Judgy and Pricey debating whether Mr Ancelotti’s tactics were to blame or if it was a simple case of a gulf in quality. With no Liverpool game to reflect on this week, Terry and Phil look instead at the Champions League quarter final draw, which sees the reds pitted against Real Madrid, giving them a chance to avenge the 2018 final defeat and progress further on what appears the better side of the draw. This week in history sees the Everton lads recall their own memories of David Moyes first away game in charge, a 4-3 victory at Derby County, whilst for the reds it’s a look back at Hicks & Gillett’s Anfield takeover in 2007. As usual the lads answer some listeners questions including whether the Toffee’s would rather sell Richarlison or Calvert-Lewin in a hypothetical situation and for the reds, reaction to Trent Alexander-Arnold being omitted from the latest England squad
