This weeks blues, Ian Mills and Gary Judge kick the show off by reviewing Everton’s recent FA Cup 5th round victory over Spurs, followed by a polar opposite performance where they were beaten 2 nil by Premier League strugglers Fulham. Next, The reds; Gary Murray and Phil Roberts discuss the latest defeat for the reigning champions away at Leicester City and the pattern of defensive errors. All four of the lads then take part in two of the newer features to the podcast; Firstly, in “This Week in History”, the blues look back at Walter Smiths "final roll of the dice: when he signed David Ginola and Lee Carsley whilst the reds look back at Liverpool’s 2-0 victory away at Roma in the 2001 UEFA Cup campaign. Next up is the "Higher or Lower" game with Merseyside Derby appearances, clean sheets and goals being the focus of the trivia. The reds then look ahead to the trip to a neutral Budapest venue to play RB Leipzig in the last 16 of the Champions League and the blues look to one of their games in hand against Manchester City at Goodison. Concluding the show is the preview to the upcoming Merseyside derby, featuring local boxers Tony Bellew and Derry Matthews, who, as fans of Everton and Liverpool discuss the game and their derby memories with Millsy, before the lads on the podcast get their teeth into the 239th clash between Liverpool and Everton, taking place at Anfield this Saturday.
