This weeks episode begins with the blues, Andrew Price & Ian Mills looking back at Everton’s lack lustre performance and result in their final pre season game at old Trafford where they lost 4-0. Amongst the discussion, they reflect on a small minority of the fans at the game aiming stick towards Rafa Benitez being the man in charge. The reds, Phil Roberts & Gary Murray, then look at the first of their final two pre season games where they drew 1-1 at Anfield with Athletic Bilbao. The game seen Andy Robertson helped off with what looked like ankle damage, the home return for Van Dijk and Harvey Elliot lighting the game up and not looking out of place. Social media is next with questions towards Liverpool’s lack of signings & Marcel Brands’ role and what he’s actually doing. Next is some fun with a red and blue “who am I”, hosted this week by Gary. This week in history is next with the Everton lads looking to the signing of Leighton Baines back in 2007 and the Liverpool lads looking at 2004 when Michael Owen controversially left for Real Madrid. Finally, both sides get to preview the return of the premier league with the blues first up hosting Southampton at 3pm on Saturday, while Liverpool face a trip to Norwich City at 5:30pm on the same day.
